We offer self-defense classes in order to provide women with the basic skills to escape an attacker and teach them how to avoid dangerous situations whenever possible. These classes are intended to help students to feel safer and better prepared on campus. Police Services' "Girls on Guard" self-defense classes are open to all students, faculty, staff, and community members.
In order to register and participate in the January 7th training session, please e-mail Sergeant Denise Murphy at email@example.com. Registrations may only be done via e-mail (not by telephone).
If you have any questions regarding the training you may call Sergeant Denise Murphy at (702) 895-4745 for further details.

Did you know that some of the most popular items for thieves to steal on campus are laptop computers and other personal electronic devices? Thieves find the unattended electronic equipment of studying college students to be an easy crime of opportunity.
The UNLV Department of Police Services would like to reduce the likelihood of this occurring on our campus, and that is why we have scheduled a property registration event for all members of the campus community. The event will be held at the Lied Library lobby on the following dates:
Registration is free and available for laptops, iPads, bicycles and any other items with serial numbers, so secure your property today!
